You can always upgrade to something like my 750GB HD. It was only $1100. It came with a new computer to. hehe.

Edit: Do you guys know of a better color to blend into the forum background than what I just used?

Lotsa people use yellow. I use the SmartDark screen and your use of gray makes it look like you're whispering. I actually like it.

I also use the SmartDark. It just looks so good. I was using the gray so that it would look like I was wispering a secret. Over at the Paradox forums, they hava a color that ends up just making a slight blur on the screen and you have to highlight it to read anything. I was just wondering if this one had something like that I hadn't found yet.

I downloaded this mod awhile ago, but just started using it a couple of days ago. I LOVE IT! Of course the radio is one of the great improvements for SH4 over SH3, and I like the way it stops working when you're submerged. These two stations have some great music and a nice period feel. I also like the ocassional signal-wander sounds that come through.

Uau! 227 MB, request 45 mtos to me to unload, good patience!. Certainly I am going to enjoy much this radio, Thank you very much :)

Ok so how exactlly do i install the mod?? I download both RRG and DHB. However when i installed RRG via JSGME nothing happens when i bring out the radio in game? Can i get a step by step or a picture of somebodies JSGME installation screen to see what exactlly is installed?? I running Operation Monson if that makes any difference...

McHibbins 03-25-10 03:17 AM

Same question here !

Wilcke 03-25-10 12:28 PM

At work can't post JSGME active mod list.

I load the main folder with all the news and stuff.
Then add just one of the setups.
I usually choose BBC and German Radio.

This may be of no help, I apologize. Maybe RR is around to post.

RR, yoooohoooooo.

I recently installed this myself, along with the BBC radio mod.

This is what my radio.ini file looks like...

Make sure whichever mod you load in last is the one that incorporates these changes. That way it'll include all three radio stations.

On one of my last war patrols (I think it was in July of 1940) I was doing a night surface attack against a French freighter, while listening to some rather saucy sounding French song on DHB. I couldn't help but laugh.

A day later: I am answerng my own post. Coratio has the intercontinental radio pack that has the Trans Atlanctic Radio mod and others included. It also has several German, French, American, Japanese, and English (BBC) radio stations. There are 57 music files, all activated by jgsme. It works with OM and OMEGU on my computer.

The Zoo Keepers Modding Team (ZKMT) from Ubi Forums announces this release from the first modding team from Ubi Forums, the Trans-Atlantic Radio Mod under the leadership of team leader dgrayson (Dave Grayson). As team Crash Test Dummy, I am elected to bring this first ever Ubi Forums mod to SUBSIM.

The mod brings two German radio stations to any submarine, including American boats in the Pacific, and is full installable with JSGME. The download may be obtained from Trans-Atlantic Radio Mod. Individual radio stations, RRG Radio (Rel_SH4_RRG_Radio_Only size is around 415 meg expanded) and DHB Radio (Rel_SH4_DHB_Radio_Only size is around 350 meg expanded) only contain that station and the Support folder. The official readme and introduction by Dave:
