This mod is for the stock game and i made a version for v1.4 and for v1.5

Exterior free cam mod:

I raised the limit of how high you can go with the exterior free cam from the stock limit of only 70 feet, all the way up to 400 feet for a much better "birds eye" view of the area. i also reduced the collision distance so you can get right up against ship hulls (1ft away) for better close up viewing of objects or ship details, but without you going inside of them as some mods let you do.

I increased the speed at which you move with the free cam in regular and run modes just a little so if you fly around you will like that because you can get around much better now.


Periscope fix:

I changed the periscope views from the stock settings of 1x and 4x to the realistically accurate 1.5x and 6x that was what they used. this should also help those of us with bad eyes see better lol.

I included some pictures if you want to see what the mod will do before you install it.



Install info:

As with all my mods, this mod is jsgme ready and it includes a read me file. Open the downloaded zip file and then open the mod folder.

Inside the read me will tell you about the mod and the folder next to it is the actual mod itself. that is the folder you need to put into jsgme.

If the mod has more than one version then just choose the one you wish to use or the one that was made for your game version.

ummm, its been a while so i dont remember

there is a read me file in GFO that lists all the mods in it and a brief description of what they do, look there to confirm
