Sh2 Betasom Alfa Tau mod: italian voices
 

Hi everybody, I downloaded the Regia Marina Alfa Tau Mod From Betasom forums, installed sh2, patch 1.1 and the Pm 1.03 patch. Installed the first mod program then the second, ran Alfa Tau and everything worked but there are no italian crew voices, and if theres a way to enable that, i cant find help for it. The pdf on Betasom's forum page for the mod is in itailan and there is no way for me to find a translation. I i missed something in the istallation or something else i did wrong I could really use some input on this, and once again would be grateful for any help. If any one else has installed this mod before and had italian and not the default German voices working let me know.

A translation of the FAQs reveals:

8) But in the package were included voices in Italian?
Yes, they have been inserted, to be able to "listen" to them you have to choose from the menu realism configurationsthe "Translate Voices" option on off Otherwise the entries will be in English.

9) Why does a German voice appear among the voices in Italian?
Because at present the voices have been "translated" into Italian at 95%

Hey, thankyou, that definitely sheds some light on the issue, because thats what was puzzling me---the german voices--both in german and english. I couldnt figure out why turning off the tranlate voice option was still turning german voice and not itlalian. Thanks so much for your hard work, and thankyou for responding to this post!

Edit: I can confirm; By turning off Translate voices, the Italian comes right through! The German chimes in from time to time, but just like it says in the Alfa Tau manual, 95% of all the crew messages are definitely in Italiano! Thanks again ,
