Greetings from Scotland!

Hello folks - just introducing myself to the crew as requested.

I am here because the YouTube "suggested videos" algorithm sometimes gets it right and directed me to a somewhat recent SH3 (and subsequently SH4) Let's Play series. I haven't played sub games since WAY back in the Commodore Amiga or early PC era. I have a vague memory of playing a sub sim that put you in a German boat from the very early WW2 era but I may be wrong - it was a long time ago.

Having binge watched the SH3 and SH4 series I realised that the actual games themselves are very affordable these days and quite often the "old ones" are the best. I am not afraid to mod games given suitable instructions too.

Once I have had a better browse around the forum I'll be asking for recommendations on a game to start with and I confidently expect to ask a single question and get fifty answers to choose from!

Thanks for the welcome and see you on the forums!

Daniel.

Welcome Daniel i'm also a fellow Scot from the Moray Firth.

I've been dipping my toes into Silent Hunter 3/4/5 over the last 15 years, currently enjoying SH4 with the Dark Waters mod during the lockdown as I've found it the easiest mod to plug in and play out of all the amazing mods out there.

Every now and again I delve into Dangerous Waters creating my own missions.

Have fun pal :salute:
