Increase crew visual night range

Hello everyone, I'm trying to increase the maximum visual range at night for my watch crew, I can't have more than 9,5 km , tried with parameters in sensor.cfg but my light factor doesn't change nothing even at 0 value (if I set more than 1 the range decrease).

By day they see at 16km, by night I can see enemies around 13km with attack periscope.

Any suggestions?

you are manipulating the proper file however i believe that Visual light factor=1.0 is the standard.
below 1.0 would lower your crew's skill to see at night.
Stock has the value set to 1.2.
Dark Waters has it set at 0.01.
TMO ala Bubblehead is the same as Stock, 1.2.

there are also two other visual sensor factors to consider:
Visual range factor
Visual fog factor

i believe all three are multiplicative factors, so a value more than one increases their detection capability.

good luck with whatever values you settle on.

I've tried all values even 0,01 but is the same than 1 ; light factor works in reverse, >1 means less sight .
I think it's something with environment light to change.
Anyway I haven't tried dark Waters yet, what is the maximum visibility at night for the crew?

do you mean maximum distance or maximum value?
the former i have no idea, the latter, i suspect is 99.

i forgot to mention that you can also vary visual detection by use of the Special Ability Ability-Watchman. you can boost skills incrementally that way with values of 1 to 999, where higher is more capable.

Thanks for trying help me, anyway silent Hunter is strange, In the end I obtained my objective with a combination of maximum visual range in library file and fog factor , lol.
