lost my add-ons

I have been away from SH4 for a while and recently getting back into it, but somehow I lost my add-ons, such as various sounds and the 360 degree protractor that overlays the boat on the nav map. I have been working to re-install the various sounds and commands that I originally had but cannot get the 360Deg protractor to work. Can anyone help me out?
thanks!
Joe S

You are looking for the bearing tool, but are you using Stock for your "base" of operations, or do you have a mega-mod installed? Also, do not have SH4 installed in a "default" C:\Program Files folder, else the mods generally will not "take", and Windows will rollback most changes.

I did not do a link for the bearing tool, because I cannot find the "plain" version of the mod... still looking.

Thanks propbeanie!

I do NOT have any mega mods, just a few sound mods and some keyboard mods and the bearing tool. I did get a new monitor and changed the resolution, that might be the culprit. I did not think it would result in any changes especially the sound mods.
If you can find that bearing mod please let me know. I did look for it with no luck.
Thanks!
Joe

would the 3000 Meter Bearing Plotter work in this use-case?

Yes, that's what I was looking for, but without any airplane changes... :salute:

ok, joe, listen up! here is the gouge!
browse over to the Download forum and search for "3000 Meter Bearing Plotter"
you are going to see a lot of them. find the one with the screen resolution that matches your screen resolution.
read the installation instructions, d/l it, and mod it on using JSGME.

table stakes questions here:
have you installed SH4 in a folder other than the default? if not, then do that first.
have you implemented a 4 gig memory aid such as LAA or something similar? if not, do that next.
have you installed JSGME? you will definitely need that. look for it in the Downloads forum under Jonesoft. d/l version 2.6.

have some fun and go sink some ships!
