I bought myself a Dremel tool for christmas thinking it would be great use on my models, I was right. Tried it out tonight to cut some pieces and sand them down, life is 100x easier. Thank you Dremel. Who knows where this thing will take me.

I have never owned/used one, but from what I have readed, flooding holes in the hull are a pleasure to do with the Dremmel, so it seems to be a MUST for submarine model builders :hmm: I am still doing the long and boring job with a handtool :nope:

Best mate you'll ever have in modelling terms.....I've built up a sizeable collection over the years, even got the radial arm drill attachment http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif

I got one with 50 some attachments, garden tool sharpener and circle cutter. Not sure why I got all that, it's main use is models. It'll end up getting used around the house. Cutting and sanding bits are the most useful.

A long time ago I built a 6/7' radio controlled WWII British S Class sub and it had over 500 flooding holes.
I must admit the ease with with which the Dremel sorted it, made the task a labour of love.

LONG LIVE DREMEL http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif
