Stadimeter question

So, i am asking this because i dont know if this is an feature of the mod, or i am making something wrong. Most of my time on Silent Hunter 4 were on the stock game, and the stadimeter worked fine. But when i installed the TMO 2.5, i noticed something. On my last patrol, i compared the distance shown on the stadimeter and the one in the map, and for some reason, the distance shown on the stadimeter were a lot far off. The actual distance of the enemy ship were 3.000 meters and the stadimeter measure 4.000 meters. And this only happens to some ships. Maybe the resolution have something with this?

One thing in TMO is with the various ships, the point of aim/measure points are not always the masts such as on the "native" ships to SH 4, so large errors in range readings are likely attributed to this. Some ships the measure point is the stack. Some are marked with a red mark on the stack or the mast in the rec manual. In TMO, its not as simple to gain accurate stadimeter readings, which of course can affect speed readings, especially if try using the speed feature from your crew. There does appear to also be a element of error incorporated, so you will rarely get perfect readings.

Curious. Are you running standard TMO 2.5 or the TMO 2.5 Update BH?
