Because I do not have the option of adding my personal photo to my profile? It seems more in keeping with my age, I am here again but in my life and paid my dues at 65 years old. The image of Popeye does not speak well of me. Thank You So Much.

There is a function called "Edit Profile Picture", which changes the picture people see when they click on your name.

You can only change your avatar picture if you are a contributing member, i.e. you have donated to Subsim. See post #6 on page 1 of this thread. :sunny:

What does the "Shore Leave" rank mean? Did I do something bad?
Does it mean I was not active enough? Or is it just another rank?

It means nothing. As the post you quoted states, "along the way", which means that yes, it's just another rank.
