Wolves of Steel installation question

Hello everyone!

I have recently bought Silent Hunter 5, and immediately installed the Wolves of Steel mod. I followed the installation steps, but when I came to the part about restoring the snapshot, I got an error message. I had read the installation instructions for the mod, and noticed that it may have trouble if the game is in the ‘Program Files (x86)’ folder. I accidentally installed the game in the standard Program Files folder, could this be causing the trouble?

If this is the case, can I just copy the game over to a different folder, or does it require the Ubisoft launcher to work?

Thanks,
Sir_Lunchalot

If you installed it in "C:\Program Files (x86)" it can be the reason.

Depending on the OS, it is usually the better and easier way if you uninstall and reinstall SH5 and then start the installation of TWoS again.
Ubisoft Launcher is normally not necessary and I do not have it installed. I have the DVD version of SH5.

Thank you for the advice. It’s much appreciated!
