Quastions about torpedo

1. What is the maximum/minimum angle of firing torpedo from the front and from the rear? (in type VIIC).
2. Does the torpedo being shot strait ahead and changing its own angle during cruising? or does the shooting angle set up from the begining in the torpedo room?

I'm not talking about the magnetic torpedo.... only about the simple one.

You set the angle you want before the torpedo is fired. I mean how is the torpedo supposed to change his course on his own ? That would be a malefunction :yep:

I know you set the torpedo before you shoot it, But I can think on 2 ways of doing that:
1. setting some "tail fin" in some angle, making the cruise of the torpedo like an arc.
2. setting the whole tube in the direction of the target, so the torpedo moving strait ahead.

You mean you want to know the mechanical side of it ?

Well the torpedo has an gyro compass which controls the torpedo rudder. You set there the angle and it keeps the torpedo turning till it gets the angle that was set.
