"New" features in TWoS 2.2.24?

Ahoy! I'm getting back into the game after a little shore leave. I did a fresh installation of the full version 2.2.24. Previously I was playing 2.2.23 patched to 2.2.24.

But I noticed that this time, the default keyboard layout is Church's. The last time I played, the keyboard was the TWoS layout. Is it normal that it now default's to Church's? How can I change it to the stock TWoS layout if I want?

I also noticed the crew look different. Erich, the XO, for example, no longer has his eyepatch. And the Chief is wearing a red flannel shirt instead of his usual black jacket. Is this normal? I'm beginning to think my previous installation was bugged the whole time.

No idea about keyboard layout, never seen any other in SH5, but for what it's worth - I use 2.2.24 and first officer does wear his usual eyepatch, so either your current installation is bugged somehow or it is another mod that is responsible for changes in crew uniforms (and perhaps keyboard layout too).

Thanks! I actually figured it out. Silly me, I reinstalled DBSM's mod thinking it was just a sound mod. I forgot I need to configure it so that it doesn't modify the crew and the keyboard layout. :k_confused:

TWoS 2.2.24 has the default crew. You need to use DBSM for TWoS. It changes the crewmen via scripts. If you want to restore the original crewmen, delete the scripts folder in the mod. Problably you will lose something of DBSM...But it works.

Regards.
