Radione R3

Hi,

I am currently working on a new radio and I will replace the existing one with a Radione R3 (https://www.cryptomuseum.com/spy/radione/r3.htm).

short Story about Radione R3:

In 1924 the brothers Dipl. Ing. Nikolaus and Theodor v. Eltz the company "Rundfunkapparatefabrik RADIONE" in Vienna. In the years 1938/39 the Radione R2 radio receiver was produced as a travel radio. The Radione R3 was produced as a military version. This radio receiver was built between 1942 and 1943. He was a shortwave receiver. Mains operation could be changed from 110 to 220 VAC using a cube plug. Battery operation with direct current was also possible. The device had a dynamic speaker. The case was made of metal.

Now I'm thinking about replacing the standard gramophone with a period suitcase gramophone from Triumphon? :hmmm:

I'm just trying to make SH5 nicer and better, like many others here. :Kaleun_Wink:

Unfortunately you can't get rid of all bugs.

I hope so too. But I think I need more time for this, because it is not so easy to find perfect pictures at the correct angle and good quality.
I was also on vacation last week, so I had a lot of time to create the radio. :D

The Radione R3 is also visible in the movie Das Boot from 1981 above the actor and singer Herbert Grönemeyer as lieutenant Werner:
