Mission editor noob help

Now that I got a little used to Karamazovnew's new TDC interface mod, I want to make a very simple custom mission to actually test and train my aiming capabilities on 100% realism. The problem is I can't really make it work. I placed an empress of britannia (or something like that) somewhere in the water, and an XXI at around 8k meters away , facing the oceanliner at 270 degrees (on purpose). i also wrote some objective and everything, gave it a title, mission starting time, and afterwards i just saved the file into a folder i made in the single player missions folder of the game with some random name, but when i start the game the mission won't show up, i also used jsgme but again nothing. i know i'm a noob and i'm not doing something right so i was wondering if anyone can give me some guidelines. as i said, i just need the simplest mission set-up possible, with an XXI facing 270 degrees(more torps for practice) and a large oceanliner preferably, in front of the uboat at a couple thousand meters, facing 0 degrees

After you have created your mission, go to “Save As” in the Mission Editor and give it a name ( example: test1 ). You will note that you have created two files, test1.misge and test1.tsr. Create a folder / directory named test1 and place the two files in the folder. Move the folder to Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\Data\SingleMissions, then your mission will show up.
