2004 campaign broken on 1.07c beta
 
I finished the first mission, got the after action report screen, got some medals, then a campaign cutscene (how the invasion of Norway was repelled)...then it went back to the after action report screen, but the continue button was gone.

Couldn't exit the screen, or click anything. Enter didn't work. Had to force quit the game.

Playing which Campaign? NATO or RUSSIAN? And which Mission? Which Boat were you commanding? Did you have any other mods loaded, or was this a clean install? Since the 2004 Campaign makes so many changes to the Campaign Map, a clean install is recommended. Please let me know the details and I will attempt to duplicate. Thanks for reporting this.

Looks like the cut the running time (fuel supply) for the MK 48 SACAPS in half...:hmmm:

They did but you can fix it yourself

Sorry I wasn't clear; I meant which campaign in the Mod, 2004 NATO Campaign or 2004 RUSSIAN Campaign.

Ok, So: 2004 NATO, Invasion Landing Force, in a Los Angeles Flt III. I will research and see if I can replicate.

Something must have changed in the Missions in the 1.07c beta release, as I didn't change anything in the NATO 2004 Campaign for the update. It was just changes to the HUD and adding the 2004 Russian Campaign...

This might take a while to track down.

I didn't change the ADCAP... Thanks for reporting this. I'll have to look at this as well.

I wonder where it was changed. According to the weapons_txt file it's still 35,000 yards (range). Same as before.

I watched the Jive turkey stream and he said he thinks the range was Nerfed. Emphasis on think. He isn't sure yet.

Also there is nothing in the change log about the MK48 torpedo.

The range is unchanged in the default folder and in the 2004 Campaign override folder as well.

If you want to increase the range anyway, then you will need to modify the weapon.txt file in the ColdWatersData\StreamingAssets\ override folder.

Open the weapons txt file in Notepad and look for the following code:

WeaponObjectReference=usn_mk48
WeaponSprite=weapons/sprites/usn_mk48_sprite
WeaponType=TORPEDO
Warhead=550
SurfaceLaunched=FALSE
WireGuided=TRUE
WireBreakOnLaunchProbability=0.1
WireBreakSpeedThreshold=15
RangeInYards=35000


Change RangeInYards=35000 to whatever increased range you want. Remember roughly 2000 yards = 1 Nautical Mile.

Uploaded an update for the 2004 Campaigns which corrects the campaign freeze after completing a mission.


Mod Update # 5: Date:09/04/2017
Fix for the intermittent game freeze during a mission or after completing a mission. Took a while to duplicate, but hopefully this is corrected now.

Further improvements to the models in the mod. Tweaked and refined Pump Jets on several sub models.

Finished the Modelling of the Nimitz Class CVN in the Russian Campaign, so now the Carrier looks more like an American CVN. It's a little clunky, but for now it'll have to do.

Made the OHIO-class SSGN Refit playable in the 2004 NATO Campaign, per player requests.

Several mission and ship descriptions corrected for spelling and clarity.

As always, let me know if any bugs/glitches rear their ugly little heads.

Sorry this took a while, but it took me a while before I could duplicate the reported freeze on my Dell XPS 8300...
