trigger maru vs fall

Curious what are the big differences between these two mods. Also they both have the narwhal is this the same narwhal that subsim has as a standalone mod?

TMO is more challenging. FoTRSu is more detailed.

TMO is more of a challenge, the AI is improved, the aircraft while reduced, are more deadly , including having MAD in late war, so much as some planes were in real life, a threat to you when running deep. TMO does have some features not included in other mods and relatively bug free, quite stable.

Main issue with TMO is the creator (Ducimus) is no longer active in the SUBSIM community, and has not been for a while, so TMO "out of the box" seems quite dated, but is still difficult. For the last 16 months roughly I have worked on an update for TMO...adding plenty of ships, making the traffic more in line with history, making realistic night surface attacks a possibility and more. I am in final testing now and plane to release next week.

FOTRS is the new gold standard for mods. Tons of ships, great visuals, redesign of missions, and vicker's excellent interior mods , giving subs more than just two compartments has really added to things. However, it is not as challenging as say TMO as it was not designed to be a difficulty mod. Excellent mod, team has done outstanding work and continues to improve upon said work.

I would say give both a try, there are instructions for a multi install of SH 4 that way can try both out.
