MOD IDEA - Unit reference cards for contact ID
 

Unit Cards should be added in game for easier recognition and to help learn about all the vessels.

When a target is ID'd (correct or not) a small window will popup on screen on the side which will contain a cross section pic, list of weapons, CIWS arcs, and general info about the best tactics to use to evade or defeat them in combat.

I would hope they add it in game but a mod sure would help with newer players learning who is who and how dangerous targets are compared to others

This feature already exists in the latest version of the game. However, it does not include CIWS arcs or best tactics. :Kaleun_Cheers:

Click the little ship icon to make it appear.
Then as you go through the sonar contacts on the Signature tab, it changes to match. If you then click on the red text it expands the data available for that sub-system or weapon.


Also, whats with all these stupid replies to first time and returning posters - ever heard of PM's !!

I never realised those parts were clickable so thx....

I suspect those responses are auto but possibly have been accidently tied to replys instead of Pms

You can also press 'M' to bring up the reference card - in case you didn't know.
