Earlier on whilst fixing my car I heard the unmistakeable sound of a merlin engine,just it sounded thicker,ducked out of the shed to see mosquito fighter bomber flying around:o....very cool indeed.....:up: Sorry had to share

I've caught the CAF's planes flying in and out of the big airshow at Ellington a few times. Hear the noise and scan frantically for a bit, but you get rewarded with the sight of a B-17 flying over.

You didn't happen to scream "ALARM TAUCHEN!", did you? :hmmm:

Ancient, you lucky bugger - that was the only airworthy one in the world and soon heading to the States.

Nice one, i live a short distance from RAF Cosford, ive seen the occasional spitfire flying over which is quite a thrill, and more than the occasional chinook helicopter, not so thrilling but damn loud!
