OM using air bases
 

It has taken me over 10 years to work out that you can use the German airbases to send out search planes to spot convoys, task forces and individual ships!! Makes the game a lot more interesting and so much less time to find something to sink just using the sensors on my u-boat. For those that don’t know how it’s done, click on a German airbase. A circle appears to show the operational range of the spotter aircraft. Then click again where you want the plane to search inside that circle. First time I did it I found a task force and two large convoys off the coast of Norway. This is such an amazing game.
