As another boring patrol of a big fat zero comes to an end and as I sail south suddenly my luck turned. :D

Nice pics steed, nice way to finish off an otherwise uneventful patrol. Sometimes that happens.

Here's my latest achivement.

I've been playing a lil' SClass for three patrols now. I managed to sink two Kongos and crippled a third so far. I would've had the third one too, since it was dead in the water with his friends long gone, but I was out of torpedoes and 220 rounds of my deck gun didn't scratch it (before you ask how the hell does a sgar boat gun it out with a BB and not die, know the BB had a blind spot due to aft flooding).

The lil sub also is the proud sinker of a few merchants. Nothing special, except this particular shot. The shallow waters of western South China Sea make it both dangereous to engage convoys and fun to sink lonely merchants. Here's the aftemath of an S-Class - med merchant encoutner:

http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/9936/sclass05bn3.jpg

The same little sub also sank a small freghter. With the deck gun. Yes, nothing really special. Except for the fact that it was all done at point blank: the two ships brushed together for the whole duration of the fight. No damage to either, thanks to the no-damage-on-collision issue of SHIV.
