Best Type IX reference materials?

...I swear everything is geared towards the type VII! :haha:

We've got an IXC/40 here in need of some TLC, I'm curious what your recommendations for the best overall reference books/videos etc on the Type IXs would be.

Have read most of the usual classic nonfiction over the years (Clay Blair, Iron Coffins, Hunt And Kill, Steel Boat Iron Hearts etc), looking to find more technical stuff about the IX boats though. Detailed engineering accounts, construction plans etc. Any recommendations? So far have ordered Another Place, Another Time as a general read, lots of photos of the interior!

If anyone has useful info or media they'd like to share I'd be very grateful.

Another Place, Another Time is a great one, about the author and the type IX. I was going to recommend it when saw your OP again a notice it.

U-boats of the Second World War: Their Longest Voyages is also quite good to understand and know more about the experiences and patrols of the type.

And the famous "The U-Boat: The Evolution and Technical History of German Submarines" has a lot of the type IX also, and all of the others...:03:
