oh and the rest are all listed just with different names, only thing that isnt working is surfin bird for the dolphin movie

TarJak 03-01-09 01:59 PM

Chisum and 2ndBestKiller's movies are still being uploaded. Patience people.

I know the sound doesn't work on Dolphin, however that's YouTubes doing. I've got the original with sound which is what I'm judging on.

Once all the videos are up I'll add a poll for the peoples choice and voting will be open for a week from then.

@Jimbuna LOL

got you...

will wait a bit longer...

this is better than the oscars... will try to learn videos for next year festival.

I WANT one of those hats

Chisum 03-02-09 03:14 AM

It's ok TarJak, I cut the cat story and it's now 6'20" long.
Just upload it and I give you the link right after, hopping it will be not to late.

I saw the other works and I have no chance to win something due the poor material I use...
But perhaps a nomination to the best historial scenario who knows ?

You make me a star man !

:rotfl:

Ok, there is the link to my movie reworked:

http://files.filefront.com/Meeting+w.../fileinfo.html

I need also say a little explain about the movie, explain who seems necessary because I had a feedback from french people who ask me why I have shifted black & white for color and after back again in B/W.
I get an answer but its to precise and I can't traduce exactly...
If someone is enough strong to translate I will be happy and I thanks him a lot.

And I finish with a very big thanks to TarJak to this contest.

Regards.

Ok, I saw that my movie is uploaded, thanks TarJak.

NP Chisum.

Now that all the entries are in we can get the show on the road.

Judging will be taking place over the next week and each movie will be judged on its merits in terms of the criteria in the first post of this thread. What I'm looking for is a good solid story being told concisely and with atmosphere. Unfortunately the comedy aspect looks limited as most of the pieces entered are fairly serious. But that just makes the best drama category more exciting.

Voting in the peoples choice category is now open. The poll will close on 10 March. Cast you vote and see who is leading the race.

To all contestants good luck and may the best films win. Prizes will be announced with the winners of each category.

Chisum 03-03-09 04:35 AM

I want to say Good Luck to all.

It's very fun to participate.

AVGWarhawk 03-03-09 09:31 AM

Movie #1 and #2 look to be excellent but they are to dark to see. Might just be my computer.

Anyway, my choice was Mr Flecks. I have seen his work before and it is all imaginative. The real clincher for me was bringing in the British sub. Unexpected and very cool idea.

Indeed that was a pleasant suprise. Good thinking on Mr. Flecks part :D

2ndBestKiller 03-03-09 12:56 PM

Well the problem with the darkness is the compression. I have the uncompressed verion on my PC and it looks fine. But compressed all the detail get lost, however if ypu are in a darkrom you should still be able to see the important sections.

Thats a knightly gesture. :DL

I'll keep my fingers crossed for all the submittants! For me the most important thing in this contest is to motivate people to make their own U-Boat movies and movies about naval warfare. There are too less movies covering this topic and there should be more!

Cheers!
Mr. Fleck

Thanx for the kudos AVGWarhawk and Eberhardt!

On my left shoulder there sat a tiny dragon and kept saying "I need more drama, baby!" ... therefore the twist :arrgh!:

Cheers!
Mr. Fleck
