Thank for sharing this fantastic video.

The first word in the subforum title is Submarine Scale Models: Subs... so any type of scale model of subs goes even RC.

RC brings a lot more concepts to modeling, such as "free range of motion" and "structural durability". :up: Parts don't only have to look good, they also have to operate in the field.

Its all useful information. I could show you how to "weather" a hull so it looks convincing without getting in the way while you can show me how to scratch build an opening door or hatch so it doesn't fall apart after the first weekend. :yeah:
