True.

For gramophone music there is a lot of downĺoads in Forums Downloads.

For me is better to convert all radios and music to ogg format.

ok so this is my first time ill be going to a newer version. from 1.06 to latest 2.04. So do i have to go to fresh install and all that or do i just disable in
JSGME and then add 2.04 stuff in and enable and rerun TDW patcher for the 2.04 update ? start a new campaign of coarse.

THEBERBSTER 07-07-17 05:02 AM

hi drakhen
It is advisable to have a clean install but IMO from experience it is not essential.
If I were going to start a new career then yes I would start again with a clean setup.
If you are going to carry on with your current career then no.
In the bunker.
Replace v1.06 with v2.00
Add update v2.04
Add any additional TWOS mods.
If you are going to continue with your current career so you can use your existing saved games then you need to add this patch last in JSGME.
TWOs Disabled Campaign Restart Tweaks.
This patch can be removed when you get a U-Boat upgrade.
You will also need to replace your existing patcher gps file.

Hi Faamecanic!
The Radio folder contains "Grossdeutscher Rundfunk":

Data/Sound/Radio/Grossdeutscher Rundfunk

My professional but rebellious crew likes American Jazz. For German music Beethoven Wagner and Richard Strauss. No propaganda music. We are the Kriegsmarine not the nazi party!

Ok found the radio :)

The tracks I have are different that the ones in the radio folder from Twos, and the speeches and war reports just add to the atmosphere (if you do not speak fluent German and realize you are hearing a report from 1940 if you are really in 1944...lol).

If I find them I will upload them and share link.

Great! You can upload them in MF or/and request Mr. Neal Stevens for uploading them here in Forums Downloads.

I think will be better an independent mod for test and publish some feedbacks here, then Vecko could add it in a next update of TWoS.

Many thanks!

THIS was the mod that I have....it has everything I was talking about. AND it has been improved over the one I had, as it has Year specific news reports and such 1939 - 1943 (or there abouts)

EXCELLENT.... :Kaleun_Cheers:

vdr1981 is this the version of "Grossdeutscher_Rundfunk" ( 10-23-2016) you added in the last update of TWoS 2.0/2.0.4?

Ahh, ok thanks for that info but specially i would like to know if the

are in the right order in the last version of TWoS or/and if anybody can report something about that "news orders bug"?

Had in the past , at the beginning mission in Danzig Bay (1939), a news from 1942. So i delete my old (own) Grossdeutscher Rundfunk file and using now the GDR file from TWoS 2.0/2.0.4.

I dont think german 30's music is any kind of nazzi :)
Some Kaleunen liked american jazz at ubote (e.g. Werner Henke)

But it doesn't seams to me so authentic as pure german :)

Of course. But I don't like all the day with Deutschland Uber Alles! I prefer Tipperary!

Just saw the news reports are in the TWOS mod as well.. I assume you have to tune to different radio channels to hear them?

I think everything I have is also in TWOs... so I have nothing to add if that's the case.

fitzcarraldo 07-10-17 04:23 PM

I will check it. I added a lot of music and radios to my TWoS.....Many channels, only lacks HBO.

Regards.

I keep getting this error when trying to use the options changer program. I want to use the SH3 ui and I keep getting this. Also the options menu for the map is just black I get no text in it, I can see all the checkmarks but there is no text just a black background. I installed the direct X with SH5 is there another I need to install with TWOS?
