Hunter, a suggestion: as moderator you can create stickies. Collect the links posted here, and sort them a bit by titles, then post them separately in a sticky that is locked, so that only you can access it, and make one posting per title that inlcudes all related links. I used to do it somehow like that in the tank forum, and still keep it updated. Once this thread here runs several pages, things become looking confused - links for different titles wildly mixed up, and scattered over several postings, and pages - not good. Granted, I had less work with it, since there are not many tank sims around. Doing it for flightsioms probably would cost a bit more of time.

Hell, I think such a sticky could become very famous for the flightsim genre, and may gain attraction from beyond subsim.com as well, if it only becomes huge and complete enough in size.

Thanks Skybird,

but as you also know my Moderating Rights are very limmited the first 90 days
I can only move, and close - reopen threads. cant create sticky's yet.

I will make a thread like you mentioned above.
and this thread will stay alive so people can post their found links in it.
thanks

Then Neal has changed that, i wonder why. I put down moderation when I "left" the last time :), but when I took over the tank forum I was allowed to sticky, even delete threads from day one on. And I did.

You could collect all links and already sort them in a separate textfile on your HD, and set that one up once you are "free". That way the woprk is distributed over time, and it all does not come together in one moment of time.

As that post was nice and clean, good idea that was from Skybird.
