UltraSubs v2.1 - Several things fixed and will have long range radars release embedded.

UltraSubsSH4 v4.3 for SH4 will make it's first release. It will have similar upgrades as UltraSubs for SH5 has. The release will be for SH4 v1.5

This mod as stated in the description in the downloads area is a "Casual Gamer's" mod. The intention of the mod is to further ease game play than the original challenge level to see all parts of the game from start to finish with little to no setbacks. It's not perfect. It is a "Release" mod, but I'm still tweaking and testing different ideas to more effectively carry out the intention of the mod. As I state in the readme, EVERYTHING is a work in progress.
There are a couple issues I'm trying to fix on this mod. One is parts of the submarine still get damaged beyond repair even though parts of this mod has countered that from happening. Another issue is, An unattended submarine loses stability over 20-23knots or faster. When I say unattended, I mean in map view, zoomed out pretty well, and time compression beyond 1024. Sometimes you have to go long streches, and I think it'd be nice to be able to put the pedal to the floor and cross the Atlantic going 60 knots problem free. Would that be so bad??:hmmm:
Other than that, Everything else seems to work, but I am still tweaking though.
If anyone has problems or has found any mistakes, I'd be interested in correcting them. I will post changes here and in download forum under the mod release.

I had a question to you, the developer.

Is it possible the volume of the engines to adjust the gears.
When you switch from first to second gear the sound is properly raised.
In the third, fourth and fifth gear is all the same volume.
So all three are played with loudest sound.
Possible that the volume depends on the speed and not rpm.

My attempt to change that so far has unfortunately fruitless.
Perhaps a small suggestion for your advertised Update of "UltraSubs_2.1".

I've researched this problem in the SH5 forums on here and have found others questioning this imperfection as well. I will look into it, but it is possible that it may be hard-coded in the game to increase the loudness of the sound of the engine rather increase the speed of the sound of the engine as done in SH4 and SH3. Sadly this is another example of the lack of effort the developers put into the game. As soon as I re-find the thread that discusses the engine sound issue I'll edit this post and include the link to it.

2.1 is still in progress. It was on hold while I was finishing up German UltraSubs for SH4. With that done I intend to continue my efforts for this mod.
I have experimented a little with modifying the sound in SH4 - replacing the factory diesel engine sound with the sound of a Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel idling in a test-mod. It worked, it was interesting, but I never released it as it was for testing purposes.

I will post any findings of any hope of fixing this sound issue. You may want to keep an eye on the sound mods for SH5 as it may be possible another modder may have solved this problem. Also of of course I will post further progress of UltraSubs2.1 I thank everyone for their patients with me on this mod update.

For the next version of Ultrasubs could you increase the armour and the repair time I went up against a couple of destroyers surfaced and got sunk quite easily maybe also could you increase deck gun accuracy because my crew suck at aiming and I don't like the cross hair its too awkward and its sucks at ranged combat

I have installed the UltraSubs_v2.0 folder using JSGME and its shown as enbaled but when I start the campaign in the home base I still have 11 torpedos T1 and cannot purchase anything. What do I have to do?

Hi, I want to ask when I use MOD UltraSubs_V2.0 for the first time it runs smoothly but why when I save in the middle of a trip when I want to load the storage can't be played ... What should I do? the game cannot be run
