You should create your own branch "Shipyard The Pitcher & Co" for example

But the texturing(getting it in one .tga)
I need more to inspect..

For your next models, might I suggest you that you keep UV-mapping and texturing as last tasks, when you have finished with the 3d modelling?
Hopefully this will help you organizing your UV/texture map more rationally, and ultimately it will save you some precious time :salute:

I agree with this. I don't even think of texturing until my model is nearly complete. When you renovate an existing ship by changing the hull shape, superstructure, etc. the textures usually end up badly distorted compared to the original. This causes problems like life rings that are too wide, windows that are a ridiculous size, etc etc.

Often the best thing to do is remap the UV so that it is more adapted to the new hull form. :salute:

Search "shipname_ShipWake" in the dat file, with 3Ditor.
Modify Z coordinate, +1, +2, +2,5... making tests until you're satysfied.

Best regards,

Yes, this is a Wings3d oddity: it can handle a relatively high number of faces and vertices, but it becomes horribly laggy when working with many separate objects.

Incidentally, are you trying to import this model in game?

Simple. A few days ago you mentioned a Sketchup model that you were working on, and now you added the name. Nottamun's Lorraine model is pretty detailed (maybe a bit too much by SHIII standards) and it seems fairly accurate too.
One of these days I will check if that model can be easily converted into something that can be imported in game. Talking about that, please note that World of Warships has a model of Lorraine's sister, Bretagne:

https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/bret...01f413a4c6f3d1

It is likely that the latter model is more optimised for working in game, but isn't there a Bretagne unit for SHIII already?
