Version 1.0 Released!

Good news, everyone!

Version 1.0 is now available under the Silent Hunter 4 menu in the mods section. No need to go anywhere in the rest of the tree for it.

As with the Patrol Area Maps mod, if there's a better place for this please let me know. Or if the admins think it would be quicker to move it themselves, by all means you have my permission to move it to a more appropriate slot.

Again, my thanks for the help on this -- especially Jimimadrid for his permissions and help with the initial work way back when it began.

As an "homage" to the sub manager he made, you can use the "ini" files in the package to use -- or not use -- the changes to the fonts I've made. That way you can enjoy all the other stuff without having to overwrite your entire menu_1024_768.ini file.

Instructions included with the files.

Enjoy and let me know how it works out with your set-ups! :Kaleun_Salute:

IŽm trying to install it, but - it is a bad new - I have a problem with the U-Boat selector of the Jimi Sub management. Simply, it doesnŽt start. I think this could be an actualization of W11, or something with Net Framework - IŽm searching the cause, but without luck. I used the U-Boat selector when installed the Jimi mods, some months ago, and never touched it until now. Today, I discover the selector doesnŽt launch. I tried excluding it from AV, firewall, administrator...etc. :wah:

Then, until I can use the selector, I canŽt try your mod. I tried without using the selector, but the Sub management close with an error.

Many thanks for the work!

Fitz,

It's possible to do the changes manually. It just takes time.

The parts you would have to change manually would give you the following. Just use these and it should work:

Now you can see why I thought about using the merging software for the menu manager.

It was either that or a whole new "ini" file which would probably overwrite any changes someone may have already done to customize their setup.

Let us know if these work out for you and we can have them as a workaround until we can figure out what happened. It could be that it's not Win11 compatable, but who knows.

ElCid97
