Yeah that's a graphics card issue. I had it when I was using an integrated graphics card. Installed a dedicated graphics card and the shadow disappeared.

Yes, that's exactly right, this game doesn't like integrated graphics cards... :O:
and on some laptops it just doesn't work ..... :haha:
