First test with update 5e.
SH5 (Gold DVD) started via Uplay with administrator rights, W7 compatibility on W10. Both SH5.exe and UPlay with W7 compatibility and administrator rights. Disengaged Real Nav and Encrypted messages. Playing with Wind and Smoke addon. PC configured for MaMa Fix 2 (priority process). The events: Used the CW Campaign test by Vecko for a fast transfer between CW and HT, playing 64 TC max. Only a trip to the transfer data (it was June 2-1940). Started campaign, in the bunker I had this message... http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/...psfik8pvxd.png Save and reload, requested Type VIIB turm, go to the boat, and a similar message: |

It's also important to tell us what message you've got when you were leaving your base prior your campaign transfer? If message was negative, were you able to fix it by reloading your savegame? |

In the bunker, 6-15-1940, Happy Times. The same message "negative", save and reload, go to boat, and the same message "negative" (but the transfer was OK). I save and reload in this position five times, ever the same message: (observe the date in the upper right, HT, 6-15-1940. http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/...pslnmqf1ac.jpg Started HT without problems. Never I received a possitive message from the script ("transfer OK..."). The transfer works OK. But I have the MaMa fix 2. Never I received a message in the trip from the script. Only in bunker, both CW and HT. NEVER I received a different message with save/reload cycles. Tomorrow I will test the new update 5f, but I think it is the same. Or did you change something in the OldCoder script, Vecko? Many thanks and best regards. Fitzcarraldo :Kaleun_Salute: |

This could mean that maybe not all processes which Coders's script is checking are necessary for successful campaign transfer. I think that dbgview output log of same playing session would be of great help to OldCoder...:yep: |
For those of us new to SH5, is there a way to get the tutorial missions enabled ? Thank you kindly ...
|
fitzcarraldo , please load sh5 to the main menu, then run dbgview and inside that press the filter button and type the two process ids separated by semicolon. Then load your campaign in sh5.
To find the two process ids run up windows task manager and it'll list the pid numbers. You're looking for the numbers of sh5 task and osi task. Example: 10123;6846 Then after the campaign load finishes you should see lots of text appearing in the dbgview window which can be saved to a file and uploaded for us to look at. |

Not sure if the test MO can be created earlier. I did have a separate method that created the MO after the evaluation and which would be saved and only tested when the file was reloaded. But it was not as elegant as creating it on the fly during load. We will see. |
Hallo,
Hello, I was just on an enemy trip, 2 freighters sunk and there were 2 destroyers help. So I went to a depth of 100 meters Motors stop. They have me nevertheless. :hmmm: And promt 3 more Destroyer to help.:o Have only the guardian what of Water bombs murmur to hear and around my pressure envelope it was done. The subsequent death struggle (mine) lasted 15 minutes, because mine Repair team did not manage to repair the printing envelope.:wah: Someone have a clue how they did it? Is there a sea water layer that prevents the detection with sonar? And what depth is that in the North Sea? I thought the maximum depth for water bombs was 90 meters? |
Hi Vecko
What did you change in the f update? For me is the e update better, 1 reload but the f update i need 2 a 3 reloads And when you have a good campaign advance he saves directly just what peter says gr Michael |
Maybe the save is triggered due to the test MO the script creates is marked as complete by SH5. Just guessing though.
