Buying a new Laptop

At the moment I am using an Acer Aspire F15
which has a Core i5 7th generation processor this laptop cannot run Windows 11(according to a few sites that I have checked)also it is not fully up to spec for Silent Hunter 5.

I am looking to buy a new ,everyday, allrounder laptop soon.

Which of the following would experienced SH5 players look at?
AMD 5,7 or 9,Intel Core i7
Octa-Core or Quad Core
SSD

Thanks in advance.

SSD for sure, but for a laptop you intend to play games on, you don't specify your choices regarding the most important component aka the GPU.

...which means integrated graphics. Don't. For gaming, buy a computer with dedicated GPU. Integrated graphics are good for internet, movies or office work but 3D games need dedicated GPU unless you want to be able to count individual frames.

Thanks kapuhy
I am not to bad on computers, but not up to speed on a lot of things, so appreciate the advice.
