UK Crew Voices

This is my contribution to the UK boats that can be found when using several mods, such as epic mod! No longer have to hear American accents while using UK subs! It's still a work in progress, but most of it has been completed!

An interesting attempt, I tried it.

But because the Royal Navy uses (or at the very least used then) a quite different command lexicon it sounds even more unnatural than the default voices.

You can use the Warship TV series (1973) to get the text of most of the command and report phrases ("revolutions" instead of "make turns", no "helm aye" for confirmation, they just repeated the command, etc), and adding a transmission static overlay would probably help to increase immersion.

Good job, added to the Subsim news. :Kaleun_Salute:

Check your PMs, you now have permission to upload to the Mods section, sir.

Nice idea, maybe give SchrodingerDeeps a watch, he's a Brit Sumbmariner and tends to use that particular nomenclature when playing, may give you some ideas. :yeah:
