Missing parts

Some days ago I started so slowly on building the 1:200 Scale Bismarck.

Everything went ok until...I needed parts from tree "J" Which according to the instruction should be two of.

Went through the letters of the trees and discovered that even the small airplane is missing.

Yesterday I made a search for Trumpeters missing parts, there I could read there's no response from them. I read this on a forum called Fine Scale.

Well my biggest mistake was that I didn't went through the parts before starting, which I always do, but this time I forgot it.

I'm going to finish the model without these two airplane and parts from "J"

That's a pretty big Bismarck! Looks like there are Arado's available for it that aren't terribly expensive if you search 1/200 Arado. You can even find some Fairey Swordfish to go with it.

I'd be upset if I paid as much as you probably did for that model, but I'd still probably get myself some Arados. Did you shell out for the brass detail kit too? Looks like those are even more expensive than the original model.

The Photo Etch parts are all there and in good shape.

I'll try to find these Arado

I got the model real cheap-Normaly the price is around 2900-3100 Danish Kroner I paid 1900 for it.

You did get a good deal.

This guy does a pretty nice job on his 1/200 HMS Hood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlvISc5EPZE

Try searching the kit name and number on EBay. :hmmm:

I found some clear parts for a new 1/144th scale B-52 when I wanted to replace a funky cockpit area for a much older kit.

I think some folks give up on these kits and then try to get some of their money back by selling parts. :03:

Your other option might be Shapeways. They often have better quality 3D printed parts available.

Thank you for your advice

I found the Arado airplanes

However finding the rest the J-tree parts was not successful

Sound off the alarm-I found them.

It began after I went to bed-Thinking there is this bonus build on one of the turrets-I'm going to go through the parts in this package to see if they are there.

Well I forgot about my ideas until some hours ago-Went into my hobby room to get this bonus package-There under it was the J-tree parts and the Arado Airplane parts.

Thank God I was somehow saddened by the idea of building a model of Bismarck without all the parts.
