Data editing

I want to modify the FFG parameters so that its active sonar system is stronger or it can launch anti-submarine rockets. If there is such editing software, please tell me. thank you

DWEdit will help you with the sonar values.

I don't know if it's possible to get the Perry to shoot Asrocs (both in the game...and in real life :ping:)

Cheers
Stew

BTW... the FF-7 Perry Class has been completely decommissioned by the USN, therefore no longer in the fleet.

There is an FF-20 class on order (first hull being delivered 2025) which will have the VLS that can launch ASROC's if loaded out.

Modding: You can do it easily. While it may not be visually pretty, it can be done. Just ignore the launch rail. In the editor, the launch rail can be replaced with a VLS, which then is configured to the expected FFG-20 loadout.

Note: I do not pay much attention to the game's 3D view, preferring to use the NTDS display, as would be the case in a real life CIC. The other bridge and gun views are ok and functional. Emulating the FFG-20 using the FFG-7 platform would not be a deal breaker for me.
