Cold Waters/Artemis Mod

I am not very adept at modding, however I was wondering if anyone was aware of a way to make an input mod for Cold Waters that would allow you to play it like Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator. Perhaps with support for FSX peripherals like gauges and yokes.

Just a thought.
