A large troop transport (24580 tons) and a fast passenger ship (6500 tons) were also lost.

15 March 1940:
Scharnhorst departs Wilhelmshaven for another raiding mission off the coast of Britain.

Results:
Returned to port 19 March 1940 having sunk 27 ships for a total of 55,794 tons. Harrassed by the verdammt Elcos and MTBs again, but managed to persevere. Also managed to intercept and slaughter TWO coastal convoys. The CO and crew of Scharnhorst want to thank Herr Churchill for being nice enough to include a Small Tanker in the first convoy and a Large Tanker in the second convoy for us to practice our gunnery on.:D

As promised on last patrol, handed more awards and promotions out to the flak gun crews upon return home.

Back from the 6. patrol! Sunk with the "little fish" IIA U-Boat (1. flotilla, Jan 1940) two british cargos (11861 BRT):

1) SS Robin Tuxford 5081 BRT. Cargo: Aircrafts - 2 aals

2) SS Ango (Empire Typ) 6780 BRT. Cargo: military vehicles - 2 aals

1 x dud torpedo on this patrol.

Can't say I like it but I do appreciate the realism factor;) Not easy to plot their pattern through periscope and with 100m intervals on navigation map.

Scharnhorst departs Wilhelmshaven on another raiding mission.

Results:
Returned to port 26 March 1940 due to damage from aerial attack NW of Scapa Flow by Swordfish; radio antenna destroyed. Sank three ships for 11,754 tons and shot down two aircraft.
