January 14 2011, we reached a new level of human development when we derailed a political thread into a food thread... and it wasnt the last one :D

I remember the graphic at the top of the page very well - I remember the site when I went looking for help for Command: AotD, trying to get it to run on my Windows 95 box. I don't remember joining any forums then, but I may have. God only knows what handle I went by; I didn't pick up on using Growler online until some time after. So, dim recollections, but memories nonetheless.

I had a copy of Silent Steel ("A big boat just went by." "A big boat? Is that a naval term?") until recently, and may still have a copy of Seawolf floating around somewhere, but I'm not sure.

Before my time as well, but I remember the bright green front page, and the download page was a mile long!

That was still when Sh2 was the big thing, with your Atlantik Compaign and the first Das Boot Sound Mod that I got to beta test :)

That was also the time of WPL/EGL and when I was commander of the 30th Flotilla!

From 2008 to now, Hurricane Ike and the Subsim meet in torn-up Houston and Galveston.

Trip to Europe, with preview of SH5 with Dan and crew.

SH5 released..

There's been a lot actually, weird how fast time goes :)
