Pear Harbor, Hawaii 2011???

How about Pearl in 2011?

Feel it?

Want it?

Need it?

Think about it?

Perhaps we could get it down to airfare and food/drink for cost with a little help from the USN to use an old WWII quosent hut to sleep in.

Battleship Missouri, WWII submarine on display, food, beverage, fellowship, beautiful sunsets.

Present the features and sell the benefits I always said that in the boat business. :yep:

There's members here that don't have the fare for a local bus. :O:

That's a SubSim meeting I won't miss. I missed you in Texas.

RL at the last minute stopped me from being there then.

If and I see no reason not, I'm there and we'll toss for the first round. :D

For me, Honolulu return flight only next summer, cattle class - £1000 ($1600)

London, first class train ticket - £67 ($105)

So if it came to it, I know where I'd vote for :D, maybe then I could afford a beer too :()1:but I know not everybody would be able to come

Travelling is always one of the main determining factors for people but not always the sole factor.

Two year ago I was the only Brit to travel to Texas.

Last year it was Denmark, much closer for me but it clashed with my 25th wedding anniversary.

This year it was the US again but commenced three days after starting my new job.

If the collective do agree on London for next year I'll need some advance notice because I don't have the pulling power in this new job unlike my previous one.

I'll say this though.....anyone who has yet to attend a SS Meet should do their utmost to get to one because you meet some really terrific people and cement those friendships in a way only a face to face meeting allows

:DL:03:

I've just googled it, and there appears to be a great, great deal of references to this Pear Harbour, which coincidently was also attacked by the Japanese in Dec '41, and had a self-titled film made in 2001... :hmmm:

Anyhoo, don't go off on a tangent just as we're finding out about you Gay Wolves. :rotfl2:

Well, Neal lives in Pear land. They might have a harbor.
