Silent Hunter 5 Theory
 

Salute fellow submariners.

I have a theory and I'd like to hear your opinion on it.

I recently installed Silent Hunter 5 for the first time, and after seeing the intro movie, I felt underwhelmed and also thought that the creative ability of whoever the individual is who orchestrated that failed in this instance; especially compared to the legendary poem derived intro video of Silent Hunter 4. Now afterwards I thought about what the Captain in the video says, about it all being over after all this time, so abruptly; pondered this message. Then I uncannily realised that this might be the Ubisoft team telling us in a covert manner that Silent Huner 5 will be the Last Game in the series; either it's that, and an ingenious way of breaking the news to the perceptive; or they have no creative ability.

What do you think??

I think that the poor state of the game told us everything we needed to now :03:

Although the line 'So many tears*' could be a sign of the tears of frustration that poured forth from the eyes of the modders!

Thanks be to the modders...its unrecognizable now from the travesty that was the stock game.

And...its still not finished! Hopefully the talented crew here will keep working on the tricky things that they've been working on these last 2 or 3 years and finally crack the game completely!
