Corsair today announced new Vengeance Extreme 8GB dual-channel DDR3 memory kits rated at 3000MHz, the world's fastest rated production PC memory kits. Fitted with low profile "racing red" heat spreaders, the new 2x4GB memory kits operate at 3000MHz air-cooled, with latency settings of 12-14-14-36, at 1.65V. A Kingpin Cooling memory cooler is included for overclockers who want to use LN2 (liquid nitrogen) to reach memory speeds well beyond 3000MHz.
That'll increase your screen loading times a bit:haha:

Mother of god! That's damn insane!

I'll need four of them for my new computer.

This kind of ram can fundamentally change the way computers are built if pushed into the mainstream.

You see, nowadays, integrated video cards can deliver respectable graphical performance. The intel HD and AMD APUs actually do provide a certain level of 3d performance. However, the main issue comes down to the ram. The GPU is bottlenecked by slow ram.

If fast ram like this can come down in price, than we can really start to see midrange/mid-high end integrated video cards now.

:o Damn. What the hell are you going to need all that RAM for? If you had 100 mods running with GWX your loading times would be still almost instant.

Craziness....

I got the joke. When I said "Craziness" I was referring to the amount of RAM that was.
