Looking for apparent FOV fix for better situational awareness

Magnification appears too low on the periscopes so I'm looking for a way to widen the view. Usually the AFOV was around 54°-57° on German periscopes, which is the width of a 27" display at arms length. Any mods that make this happen? What is the AFOV of US periscopes?

If there's no such mod, can someone point me in the direction of how to change the FOV of the periscope views? Changing the overlay seems trivial, but the FOV would need to be adjusted to make the view correct.

CapnScurvy did a LOT of work on his Optical Targeting Correction (OTC) mod to get the FOV and magnifications correct on the US boats, but I do not recall how much work he did for the German boats... you could also check with jimimadrid and maybe he could add the German boats to his recent work with the periscopes and TBT for the US boats, if he hadn't done that yet also...

You can use OTC by CapnScurvy for a more accurate scopes, but it is not compatible with FOTRSU or TMO BH edition, if you use them.
