Submarine comedy films

I watched "Down Periscope" starring Kelsey Grammer the other day on TV.
I thought it was funny...
Especially when it posed as a fishing boat:arrgh!:

What you think about it?

It's a good movie. And as probably any submariner will tell you that's the closest to what it's really like on a boat. Insofar as the way the crew acts, not the rest of it.

Im sorry guys, But I too have to say, I hope this comes out in english, I have a failing for liking parodys, and this looks just like one I would enjoy. |Does anyone know if the dvd thats out, comes with english subtitles at least. I mean that would be a start

Watched "Operation Petticoat" a few weeks ago on TCM with the kids.
Pretty funny movie. :haha:
Of course, has anyone seen an unfunny movie directed by Blake Edwards?
