watch assault on a queen 1965...

I watched this and thought it was a great movie a good film about wwII U-boats and a hot blonde is in it too ;).

Plot:

A World War II-era German U-2 submarine missing for 20 years is retrieved by diver Mark Brittain. He recruits several others to return the sub to working condition and then pull a daring million-dollar heist on the British ocean liner Queen Mary, which they plan to rob on the high seas while the liner is making a transatlantic crossing.

Where did you find a copy of that?
Netflix does not carry it and Amazon might have it on vhs.

If it's the same movie I remember it was funny how the cutter was able to detonate torpedoes with a machine gun at the end ;)

I'm gonna check at Amazon. I'd like a copy of that too. :yep:

This movie seems... slightly stange.. I mean really, a U-2 U-boat. Is that even possible? unless they were referring the U-2 (the U-boat) but I think that was IIA...

That plot description looks like it came from Wikipedia so it must be true!:hmmm: Or maybe not.:88)

This is the IMDB plot description:

A group of adventurers refloat a WWII German submarine and prepare to use it to pull a very large heist; The Queen Mary which they plan to rob on the high seas.

This is the IMDB plot description:

Ha, you have to think how rusted the boat would be.

The torrent for this avi sucks.
Let it run overnight and woke up to a whopping 38%. Screaming 4.5kbps.
Oh well good thing I'm stubborn.

This must have been Frankies first "OCEANS" movie. :haha:

Hitman 02-12-10 04:13 PM

I saw this movie myself long ago on public TV here in Spain. But I was so young I don't remember the details anymore, just the general plot. Would like to see it again, just out of curiosity :shucks:.

In any case, this is a thread for the films forum -where it was already mentioned IIRC- so I'm moving it, but leaving a redirect here.
