Firstly I want to say: thanks for your great work! Realy fantastic!

Than I have a question:
I am playing SH III with the LSH 5.1-mod. In this mod there are more ships included. Unfortunately I have no idea where all the "damage zones" (mashine room, fuel bunker, amunition bunker, keel, etc...) are.
I just found a note for editing in SHIV on your homepage (http://s3d.skwas.com/images/screenshots/2a2.jpg)


Is there a possibility to use your S3D-Editor also for a damage model editing in SHIII? If "yes" how can I do that...I am now trying out your editor but I can not find any damage zones.

Trouble downloading S3D
 

Hi I tried to download the file but there seems to be some trouble with the website. Is the file still available?

The error message was as follows:
Could not load file or assembly 'RadMenu.Net2' or one of its dependencies. There is not enough space on the disk. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070070)

Hello and Happy New Year!

During operation (been open simultaneously Autodesk 3ds Max and S3D) has hung the computer. After a forced reset PC: S3D ceased to run.

Now when run, an error occurs:

reinstalled "DirectX End-User Runtime", updated ".NET Framework", reinstalled S3D ... - No result.

Anyone can suggest a solution? :06: :hmmm:

Try this:
Go to Control panel>system>advanced system settings
In Advanced tab go to Performance settings, then on Data execution prevention
actvate second option, click add and follow the path to s3d.exe
Add the executable in the list, apply, ok, restart if needed
It works for 64 bit systems and windows 7, 8 or 8.1

How to restore the S3D - Silent 3ditor?

Dep устанавливай только для основных программ, т.е. статус по умолчанию.
Проверь всё антивирусом.
И наконец "откати систему"!!! до точки предшествующей "казусу"... если есть возможность и нет ничего критичного до более ранней точки восстановления.
Также при удалении S3D дополнительно удали всё папки, связанные с программой и удали из реестра все следы S3D по возможности.

P.S. При казусах откатывать систему желательно сразу... пока есть необходимые точки отката.

Вернул. Я вот тоже думаю что "DEP" тут не при делах вообще. тем более до этого ничего в нем не менял. было все по умолчанию и S3D работал.
Вирусы - маловероятно, все остальное работает исправно. АВ обновляется регулярно.. к тому же время от времени дополнительно чищу и проверяю АнтиСпай_ем.

Все абсолютно верно.. но, в том то и дело что нет этой нужной (более ранней) т.в.)

Было зависание системы. такое что только reset_ом сбросить получилось. работали одновременно Autodesk 3ds Max и S3D. К слову и на заметку другим, за последние полгода уже два-три случая (завис) было и именно при их парраллельной работе (одновременно открыты). особенно при работе с "серьезными" сценами в Max такими например как интерьер sub. хотя при работе c теми же сценами только в Max - вроде без казусов. При этом, зависания у моего ПК редкость, других зависаний ПК при работе с любыми другими прогр./приложениями я уже и не помню. Вот после последнего перестал работать S3D.

чтож, попробую ещё "поглубже искореннить" S3D и заново установить.

Проблема решена. :salute:
Первая чистка реестра и частично папок/файлов после удаления S3D не помогла.
со второго раза сработало:
С профиля Administrator -> поиск на диске "С" всего что в имени содержит "S3D" и удаление этого (пришлось сделать "старое доброе": cmd: net user Administrator /active:yes
т.к. обнаружил, что мои права администратора "куды-то порастратились", хотя, эдак обновлений 50 назад они вроде были..) вот и не верь после этого что: обновления windows - это зло! :D (шутка)) только так удалось удалить все папки/файлы до единой/ого. далее снова чистка реестра на теги: "S3D" и "Silent 3Ditor".

тоько после этого (конечно с перезагрузкой) вновь установленный Silent 3Ditor заработал.

I'm not sure what's going wrong, but I have older versions of S3d that are not available on the official website. Message me if you want to try them.

Lately I've run into a strange problem with S3D - when I view objects in the 3D window, almost always after a few minutes, the object will start spinning along the X axis (from bottom to top), and will not stop until reset or S3D restart. Usually the latter is needed.

Does anyone know what is causing this? I tried consulting Google, but they don't know anything about that.

In my system S3D works good... with the exception of all known errors and inaccuracies.
