Single Mission...very annoyed
 

Trying to do a test for the leigh light in dark waters. I've made a single mission, but it wont show up. Been a while since made single mission but followed the how to here on subsim...names correct, correct placement, etc. Still now showing up.

Date of the mission, matching the date of entry of all of the units, with your sub the most important, of course. Also, one that I forget all of the time is the name versus the mis versus the folder. They have to match EXACTLY, else they won't show on the menu. If you do not use the "MissionTitle" field (same place as the briefing), then you'll just see "MissionTitle" on the Single Missons list. One that looks fine, but can be odd when you can't start the mission is if you had "Ignore players sub" turned on from doing a campaign file, and then do a single mission and forget to click the "Human Control" in the sub's Properties dialog. You will see everything in the Single Mission list, but the sub field will show "Unknown". If you text edit mis files, you will occasionally mis-match dates, and then you might see the sub listed, but when you click on "Start", nothing happens... lots of gotchas in the ME...
