Strange behaviour of the minimap
Hi
I have a very annoying issue with the minimap. It always appears in the top left hand side corner. Tried using Real Navigation first, then disabled it - the minimap remains stuck in the top left corner. https://preview.ibb.co/hSA55T/Silent...28_9_47_56.jpg Any idea how to fix it? No-one else seem to have this issue looking at ppl screenshots... I play in 16:9 / fullscreen if that helps. In help really appreciated. I re-installed TWoS twice following instructions religiously. Same thing happened. Gregory |

Yes of course - here are the mods I have enabled. I have only installed TWoS over a fresh install of SH5 1.2.0 (via Steam & UPlay).
Code:
Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 Do you know if I should see more mods available when I install TWoS? I only see those. I installed The Wolves of Steel 2.2_SH5 Expansion Pack_v2.2.6_Full.exe. https://thumb.ibb.co/dU8aPo/Capture.png Finally and also worth saying, I have not yet changed anything with the TWoS - OptionsFileEditorViewer and wonder if I could get my problem with the minimap (also called TAI?) fixed with this tool. |

Hi gb
Mod list looks ok. OFEV changes to the TAI map should not make a difference to the position of the where the map sits. You can operate the TAi Map by toggling the Tab key which has 3 settings. Closed > Mid open (Periscope stations) > Full screen. Peter |
GBWS,
I have the same problem and have been unable to find a solution yet. Hopefully someone knows an answer! |
GBWS,
Okay, I think I figured it out. I went into the OFEV and in the TAI Options setting I enabled it at start and set the mode to TAIMode TAI and that seems to put it back in the default spot! |

Thanks! I'm coming back after a several year hiatus from playing, but looking forward to exploring all that has happened since then!

Two things I'm missing since re-install - IGNORE THIS!
EDIT:
Ignore this post! SORRY! I have it all working fine now. The problem is that the installation is too easy lol! :) Hello! I decided to re-install SH5, and of course, TWOS. Two things that I noticed and I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I thought I went with the standard defaults. 1. I don't see any Enigma messages yet.. It is early September 1939. Seems I got a few encoded messages earlier than that. If my memory is wrong, then ignore this! 2. I can't seem to set the mast height. When I spot a ship, it brings up my helper guy, but the mast height says NaN, and I can't set it anywhere. I'm going to assume Enigma is now in the default? (It does not show up as a MOD in JGME). Very cool video. SH5 looks awesome but I don't think my Intel i7 and GeForce 930M will be able to handle it sadly.:wah:

A question about the latest v.2.26:
I don't see anymore the optional mod 'DeckGun Friendly Waves' in the JSGME list. Does it load by default now? If not, does it still make sense to load it for better deck gun usage? Thanks, |
