Increasing Time Compression near land

I have reset the number in Main.cfg from 4 to 64 and 32. Given that new construction will mostly be on the east coast in TMO Update V2.0, need better TC for when transiting Panama Canal, which is a bit narrow in the sim and game seems to trigger the proximity to land. At 64 can transit in reasonable bit of time and safely for player to react if needed.

Anyways, I tried making a mod, used correct file path but it does not overwrite?

Changed it in the main SH 4 directory as well, no difference. What am I missing?

there are two instances of Main.Cfg: one in Data\Cfg and one in the Save Folder structure. the latter one is not always updated when changes are made the the Data\Cfg file.

so, either delete the Save Folder file and SH4 will re-build it based on the Data\Cfg file but then you will have to re-select all of your video, audio, and game options

OR

just copy the Data\Cfg file to the Save Folder and press on.
