WIP -Epic mod + Freeroam + New UI
 

Would anyone here be interested in a mod that combines Epic mod, the almost free-roam provided by Red Storm Rising mod and one or more UI ( for now just a generic one but i would really like to make for each of the "big" subs ) ?


I have been working on something for personal use, i am not a modder i have no experience whatsoever with what is allowed and not allowed when it comes to merging other people's work and how to go about that, but here are some drafts and experiments.


With some help on the above dilemas, and if there is any interest in this i can release this for all including my own source files for any UI elements so others can easily mess around ( all is in photoshop and layered, everything is either made from scratch or re-drawn / adjusted in some cases.


Looking forward to know if there is any interest!

EDIT: There may be no actual interest in my UI after 150+ views but no vote / comment. Here is some updates, hoping for a few comments maybe with some criticism, perhaps the direction i took is not the good one ( I try to inspire from pictures of actual akula / sierra subs ). If you guys give me some art direction, i might be able to come through. If no movement, ill keep it for personal use.

I love the new UI, it looks gorgeous! I’d hold off on the free-roam campaign, particularly for EpicMod. There is something much bigger lurking beneath the waves…..

Marvelous! UI done skilfully and with quality! I'm certainly like how it looks!
I would like to ask your permission to use it in my mod if you dont mind.

Also want to point to button you maybe(or not) missing: in the upper right corner of minimap there is a button that shows/hides minimap.

I want this. Very nice.

Sorry for the super late reply, you can of course use anything as u please, i can provide you with PSD files as well if u need. I am working on additional stuff and this one is already, i just didnt want to post anymore after the disappointing drama i saw going on with this game that barely gets any mods to begin with. I am continuing to enjoy both Epic and Dot mod and hopefully one day everyone will grow up and contribute without expectations and accusations.


PM me if you would like the sources and the new stuff as well, and if its allowed to post UIs for both mods indiscriminately i would love to do so
