Installing Operation Monsun V.720 Issues

I downloaded OM and all the updates but can't get it loaded correctly. I'm using the JSGME and have installed TMO 2.5 and RSRDC with no issues.

I downloaded the zip files then extracted them into a folder. Then went to JSGME and unloaded TMO/RSRDC and used the task button to import the mods. I then activated the mods in the proper order ( getting the notes that certain files were being overwritten) so I know the files were being installed. When I opened opened SH4, it was still the stock game. How can you tell I'd OM is actually running? Any thing on the loading screen that denotes OM?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. Try starting up a German career. Then see if it gives you the option of starting a game in 1939 with one of the early Atlantic flotillas. If those options are there you should have OM installed. I've never seen a title/loading screen for OM.

First I would empty the generic mod enabler. REBOOT
Run the game to make sure everything is as it should be.

Make sure the mods you wish to run are in the MODS folder under Silent Hunter and make sure there is no parent directory for them.

example:

z:\program files\silent hunter\MODS\Opsmonsun_v705\Opsmonsunv_705<< where in this directory lay the data files would not be correct.

z:\program files\silent hunter\MODS\Opsmonsun_v705<< where in the data file lay in this directory is correct.

Some copy and paste and forget to not have that parent directory folder.

Run the GME making sure to load these mods in this order:

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157

OpsMonsun_V705
OMv705_to_V720
OMv720_Patch5

IF YOU ADD OMEGU THE FOLLOWING TWO SHOULD BE IN THIS ORDER

OMEGU_v300
OMEGU_v300_Patch7

After they are all loaded ... REBOOT

After your REBOOT restart your game and your loading splash screen should have a painting of a surfaced U-Boat with a burning merchant in the distance and say Operation Monsun in the lower right corner.

If you have loaded this succefully I would save the profile in the GME. Open the GME>TASKS>SAVE MOD PROFILE. Doing this can allow you to quickly move from one modified profile to another without manually unloading and loading another. You can save your German profile then wipe it out and load an american profile and save it and then switch back and forth between profiles. I prefer not to switch this way because I normally run only one profile at a time and I am too worried the game wil have to many currupt files if I switch to often.
