Guys, I need few main.cfg files ("C:\Users\[Your username]\Documents\SH5\data\cfg") from several different game versions (DVD, Uplay, Steam ect)

You can upload entire file or just copy/paste the content here (if possible with "code" and "spoiler" tags)...:yep:

I have to check something...

Here is my main.cfg file.
Game installed from dvd gold edition, run through uplay in offline mode.
I am currently on update 5c.
Happy digging. :D

GREATE! :subsim: Grabbing it now.
Thank you for everything you are doing. :salute:
Just want to say the game has never been more stable than now. My latest playthrough I have had not one CTD.
I can play at max time compression even when sailing past Scapa :o, and close to ports, just everywhere. Big Kudos!:yep:

I know...In v1.6 I finally manged to isolate and solve perennial problems with imported dat objects which were (are) torturing SH5 modsoups for years...

Now, despite the fact that TWoS is the biggest and fattest mod in SH history, SH5 with it will be more stable that the stock game it self...:yep:

It was different but, worked like it should. I did it mid patrol with no problems. Currently patrolling Northern Approaches in January 1940.

In your case, no...

I just got tired of watching various YT TWoS videos with ugly combination of German and and English voices...:yep:

Hi Vecko!
In my humble opinion, I prefer the traditional way to activate mods with JSGME ie zip files or rar files, so I can always control what they include and without automatism with JSGME. After all until now the traditional way it has always worked.
Can you release the update 1.06.07 in the traditional way?
The Wolves of Steel 1.6 Update 06 is approximately 73.00 MB, because the Update 07 is bigger: about 190.00 MB, perhaps for German Voices sound pack?

Best regards.

Torpedo

P.S. The .exe files always worried me. :k_confused:

I see your point, but you would be quite surprised if I tell you how much people doesn't even know what rar/zip archive is, let alone to extract it at specific location.
I see this constantly in various YT videos, KSDCommander logs, not to mention my PM inbox...

Self extracting installer which would automatize installation process as much as possible is something that have in mind for a long time.
The update 1.06.07 is just a test for hopefully more serious installer which will make things a ton easier for me and for majority of other players.

It's just WinRar SFX archive and you can open it with it...

Yes...
